The Pyke Syndicate built their empire on the spice trade, controlling the mines of Kessel and distribution routes stretching across the galaxy. In Star Wars Outlaws, they operate primarily on Kijimi and Kessel — two of the game's most dangerous and rewarding environments.

The Pykes are calculating and businesslike. They don't take betrayal lightly, but they're also not as politically entangled as Crimson Dawn. Their contracts tend to involve high-speed runs, dangerous cargo, and operations deep in Imperial territory.

Reputation Mechanics

The Pykes operate similarly to other factions but place particular emphasis on delivery success rate. Failing a spice run — whether through capture, cargo loss, or mission failure — causes larger reputation drops than equivalent failures with other factions.

Building Your Standing

Early Access — Getting Started on Kijimi

The Pykes become accessible relatively early via Kijimi. Their initial contracts are manageable for players who have completed the opening acts:

• Cold weather courier missions — Kijimi's environment makes these challenging but rep rewards are generous.
• Black market supply runs — Low-conflict with other factions, good consistent rep gains.

• Spice mine contracts — The core of Pyke work. Complete every optional objective for maximum standing.
• Escape route establishment missions — These unlock faster travel through Pyke territory and give solid rep.
• Never lose cargo — The Pykes track cargo loss meticulously. A clean delivery record accelerates your standing significantly.

Reaching Honored

• Complete the Kessel Run questline — The standout Pyke story mission and their biggest reputation event.
• Establish all Pyke safe houses — A series of side missions that collectively give a large reputation boost.
• Maintain clean standing with Hutt Cartel — Pyke-Hutt conflicts are manageable but letting either go Hostile triggers cross-faction penalties.

Managing Faction Conflicts

Pykes vs Hutt Cartel

The spice trade creates natural friction. Keep Pyke operations confined to Kijimi and Kessel and avoid accepting any Pyke contracts that explicitly involve Tatooine or Hutt-controlled routes.

Pykes vs Crimson Dawn

Lower conflict potential. The two factions rarely directly compete. Late-game story beats create some tension but these are manageable with save scumming to check outcomes.

Pro Tips

• Upgrade your speeder first — Pyke missions on Kessel require speed and maneuverability more than any other faction's contracts.
• The Kessel Run is timed — Practice the route before attempting the main questline version.
• Nix is invaluable on Kessel — The mine environments are maze-like. Use Nix to scout paths before committing to a route.
• Don't fight Pyke guards — Even in their facilities, killing Pyke-affiliated guards causes passive rep loss. Use stealth and non-lethal takedowns wherever possible.
